Here's where the action is, I wondered where folks were.

I have to say, I kept asking last night who that team you guys sent down was, because it couldn't be the 2nd place Mallards. A friend said "Well, it could be that we just were that awesome." I said "I don't think we were that awesome." "No, I don't think so either." But we'll take the win, however we get it. Weird game, neither team were really on. I think everyone has holiday hangovers.

Small crowd, stated attendance was 2359 but I don't think anyone thinks that many people were there. But honestly, schools went back this week and people went back to work and heck even I was wishing I could have been at home so I'm not surprised attendance was light. Fun crowd though, everyone enjoyed the game.

Blizzard is a polar bear. From way back when this was our logo. I think there was some talk of adding an extra mascot but it didn't happen. I hope not, everyone loves Blizzard, especially the kids.

I was pretty much thinking the same thing about the Ducks when I was watching the game, Gibbie! As I said elsewhere, I have a hunch there will be some "intensity drills" in practice in the near future....that wasn't the team we've been watching!! (And I do think Boyer adds a spark, though I totally understand why Coach played Vichorek instead!!)

We have those "attendance nights", too....and the curtain comment was a joke, because there are people who think using a curtain is something close to criminal!! Wish I could remember how many arenas I've visited/seen this season alone using them....has to be at least 4 or 5.

Yeah, many of us have moved over here...where it's fun and respectful. Great fans from other teams, too...so we have interaction and new friends!! It's good to even see some of our old-timers here and dropping in from time to time! Lots less of the negative, which is positive!!!

Oh, and at least we beat our season-low 23 SOG last night! For a while there, I was afraid that we were going to set a new low....
