Rowdy, could i get a favor bud???

Postby bomberbug » Thu Sep 08, 2011 3:40 am

Not having a hockey game to go to locally the family and I decided to make some roadtrips to the barn. I have no idea how to get tickets, good seats, hotels in the area, or if there are any seat available seeing as y'all actually have a big loyal fan base. Any info you can supply me would me most excellent. We are looking on going on the 22nd of Oct to watch y'all beat the Oilers down. We are trying to make atleast 1 a month. Which is about all we could really do seeing as i have a big ol truck and everytime i go to fill the tank i have to take out a second mortgage lol. Let me know, if you still have my number hit me up there if ya need it i can message it to you. Thanks in advance and God bless to you and yours.

Great news and you will love the shoebox. You can get ticketsvon line at Brahmas.com for individual games. Prices are cheaper than the swamp. We rowdy nasty guys are in Section C ( myself) B and D behind the benches. They try over by the penality boxes where Mojo sits but not the same.

There are several hotels at SH183 and Precinct Line in Hurst. Holiday Inn Select and a Hampton Inn are a couple.

It would be great to have you join the rowdies on our quest for the cup. I still have your number, if you need mine I will text you this weekend. One word of advice I give everyone, you might want to bring earplugs for the little one.

bomber, we are also planning to head to the shoebox several times. We have usually stayed at the Hampton. The Holiday Inn is just across the parking lot.

From my experience the fans on Rowdy's side are much more welcoming than the ones across the rink. Of course, I was there representing the hated Mudbugs so maybe that had something to do with it. I will still be wearing my Mudbugs jersey. I'm hoping to wiggle my way into seats close to section C.

I used to just call the front office for tickets but with the new structure I'm not sure if that still works.

Although most my Brahma buddies don't seem too keen on ZuRomas, my crew always loves to get to the shoebox early and spend some time eating and drinking there pregame.

We are in the works for October 22. I may even make the preseason run.....
