Build it and they will come

Postby rapidrushchamps10 » Fri Apr 06, 2012 10:35 pm

We as fans will be welcoming a new franchise to our league......welcome to the yet unnamed team from Denver, CO. Yes we will get to have a rivalry again with a Colorado team.

Speaking of Colorado

They broke out the brooms tonight at the BEC as the Stockton Thunder swept the Eagles under a rug in a three game sweep.

Yeah, it was tough to to witness.

The ECHL is just that much better than the CHL, and this year was a learning experience for the organization. I'm still proud of the Eagles and all they had to endure with losing a number of players to the AHL, one which which played in the NHL http://eagles.pmpblogs.com/ . Plus the season ending injury to our top scorer, and ECHL most valuable player Chad Costello, http://www.coloradoeagles.com/news.php?nid=1337.

We have still made the playoffs every year of our existence ad we will be better next year.

Congrats on a good year. Losing the MVP has to hurt. I have no doubt you guys will be better next year too. Good Luck in 12-13.

It's true the ECHL allows more teams into the playoffs. But with the lowest winning percentage in the ECHL Western Conference, and making the playoffs being .493, the Sundogs would not have made the playoffs with a winning percentage of .356, nor would the Laredo Bucks at .402.

The difference between me and you mightyquack, is I can admit that there are teams in the western conference of our league that are better than my Eagles. The Alaska Aces and Las Vegas Wranglers have more depth, speed and size than the Eagles. I did expect the Eagles to be more competitive in their first series, but I did not expect the Eagles to go too far because they do not have the most talent and depth in their own conference. Can you admit that about your Rush?
