Melissa Hoffman knows that if she calls her husband at the office during July, he's probably not going to be in a good mood even though he's working on a giant puzzle.

He also knows Colorado flies to every road game,

Good thing the other teams don't do this. Would have several bus drivers out of a job

I'm pretty sure they don't fly to every away game. They have a bus that they did a piece on on Altitude.

Well, I'm not surprised that part isn't true, considering that the same article says Tulsa has hosted the Christmas game for 20 years. 1) The current CHL hasn't even been around that long. 2) Oklahoma City always hosted our Christmas games and 3) Tulsa has yet to host a Christmas game since OKC left because the game last season was postponed due to the blizzard.

Either the reporter in this article made a mistake, or the Central Hockey League's director of operations doesn't know what he's talking about. If he was setting up the schedule with the idea that Colorado flies to all their away games, he has some bad information. I just can't see him not having the correct info when making the schedule. Colorado may fly South when they make their road trip through Laredo, RGV, ect. But I know they use the bus most of the time.

wow, so even the boys in the front office don't know whats going on in Colorado! I'm kidding yall :)

if the guys who did Airplane! and Police Squad were to do a movie based on the CHL they wouldn't have to do much, since the guys who run this league are already a joke.

This is pretty funny stuff. I can just imagine Coach Stewart's reaction to the news from Bob Hoffman that the Eagles fly to every away game!

It is idiocy like this that has created the hatred and jealousy of the Eagles by other teams in the league. The assumption that Colorado has a bottomless pit of money to buy players, cups, and fly to every away game is not only untrue it is a disservice to the integrity of the league.

I will be curious to see how Bob Hoffman responds to this reportage.
