with 2 vet spots left to fill, possibly 3 if they bump it.....Who would your top choices be........I would like to see Alcombrack come back and I would also like to see Chris Richards in a Kings sweater this season...If they bump it up to 5 another high scroing guy like a Chad Woolard or possibly Ryan Bennet....only reason I say these guys are because they are avaliable due to Corpus folding and all of them excpet woolard have ties with killer....speaking of teams folding would be nice for Killer to try and get Morrisette in here from Amarillo

I'm not so sure about Alcombrack. He HATED being here and if he hated it so much then I don't think he'd be my top choice. Plus once he had the puck on his stick you never knew which Alcombrack you were going to get he'd either do something to make you say wow or aw chit. Richards IN A HEARTBEAT. Woollard NEVER EVER in a million years would I want that lazy POS back here EVER. Don't know enough about Morrisette or Bennett to speak intelligently about them.

Doubt Alcombrak will return. Don't think here was very fond of the area.

Richards would be very nice to have. Morrisette too. Woolard would be my last choice he's too lazy and not responsible on both ends.

BINGO! I can't add much more to that. Except to say that I would like to see Killer snag a vet or two from one of the defunct IHL teams. I think we badly need an infusion of new blood, and that would fit the bill. Especially, with the new CHL...former IHL...teams in the league this season.

Until the lague announces the vet limit and salary cap, I seriously doubt anyone will have any "WOW" signings.

Rumor has it that the vet limit will be 6 - 5 skaters and 1 goalie. 5 skaters max, you can't have 6 vet skaters.

That's been my assumption. You hearing any rumors on the salary cap?

Vet rule stayed at 4 Skaters (Forwards or Defense) and Veteran Goaltenders don't count on the limit.. Rule hasn't change if it did it would of been announced in the Summer Meetings last june

You could be correct.

However, with the merging of leagues and lots of rules to be decided, there should have been an announcement if there indeed there was a change or if not. Just because they are silent, doesn’t mean there won’t be a change.

I would guess there would be a change and it just hasn’t been decided, or has been decided, just not announced.

After the June meeting, they did say that there were still some things to iron out.
